Naracoorte, Bat Cave

Naracoorte caves also has the largest of 2 known breeding sites for the Southern Bentwing bat.You can take a twilight tour and visit the cave entrance and see the bats come out for the evening.You can also go to a visitor centre and view the bats in the cave via infrared cameras installed in the cave.It is very interesting to see the baby bats all huddled together on the cave ceiling, they are only as big as a jelly bean when they are born
